Winter is Dropping in on Us

We watch the progression of winter coming down the mountains. It starts with a light dusting on the mountain tops, then serious snow. The snow level still has a ways to go before winter hits the lower elevations. The temperatures are still in the 30's (F) at night, 50's (F) in the daytime. This photo was taken looking north to the Talkeetna Mountains, Lake Wasilla in the foreground.
