View From Hurricane Gulch Trestle Bridge Near Denali National Park
North of Talkeetna, the passengers on the Alaska Railroad Denai Star are treated to a stunning view from the Hurricane Gulch trestle bridge, which is 296 feet above the stream below. The first passenger train crossed Hurricane Gulch Bridge in August, 1921. If the schedule permits the train often comes to a complete stop on the trestle, giving passengers a chance to enjoy the view.
