Mosquito Hawk?

This is a good wallpaper for your computer screen, unless insects make you nervous. I believe this is a Mosquito Hawk or Cranefly but I've read conflicting information. The descriptions of a cranefly say that it "looks like a mosquito, but eats several times its weight in mosquitos a day." I'd like to believe that is true.
