| Jellyfish on Beach Below Nornak Cannery, Naknek, AK |
| There are often many of these on the beach, waiting for the next tide to come in and rescue them. A jellyfish isn't a fish, but a relative of corals and sea anemones. It has no brain, no bones, no heart. They survive by brushing against their prey, using their net of tentacles which has poisonous, stinging cells. |
