Busy Day on the Naknek River

(This is a temporary departure from the series of photos of area villages.) October 16th was a very busy day. The photo shows the Island Trader. He purchased three Bumble Bee cannery scows and is taking them to King Cove, Alaska.

It's the middle of Octorber, and not only was this group of boats in the Naknek River, but also Yukon Fuel with two barges in tow and Northland Services.
