| This A-frame cabin at Johnston Hill, South Naknek, was the old Fish and Game shack, that the officers stayed in during the fishing season. Just out from here was the old "line." This refers to a line that marked the south boundary of the fishing district. Fish and Game officers could stay up on the bluff and watch for fishermen "going over the line" (fishing illegally). |
