Veterans Day is a day to honor and reflect on the sacrifices made by our armed services for our freedom.

The National Cemetery Administration honors veterans with final resting places in national shrines and with lasting tributes that commemorate their service to our nation. This remote National Cemetery is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the waters of Sitka Bay. Sitka can only be visited by air, marine highway or weekly ferry from Seattle, Washington.
