Winter Arrives on the Naknek River II

This is a second photo (see yesterday) taken Friday, November 4, 2005. This is looking northeastward, across and upriver. That is Naknek on the left. On the horizon can be seen the pointed top of Sugar Loaf. The forecast for Sunday, November 6th, for the vicinity continues to affirm winter. Snow is likely in the early morning with an accumulation of 2 to 5 inches. There is a possibility of winds to 45 mph along the Alaska Peninsula.
