Winter Arrives on the Naknek River

This photo was taken Friday, November 4, 2005, looking west on the Naknek River. That is Diamond O on the horizon. The forecast for the Bristol Bay area's evening was "Partly cloudy. Lows zero to 10 above, (Fahrenheit). Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph." Brr. Here comes winter.
