High Tide, Naknek Beach Access Road

Although the time to travel via the beach is almost over for the season, in the warmer months this beach allows people to access canneries, fishing sites, and just travel for the fun of it. Even then, it is often necessary to wait for the tide to go out in order to get around. Winter is here now, and a ridge of ice can be seen forming at the high tide mark.
