Another South Naknek Winter for a Monkey Boat

This monkey boat was probably last used about fifty years ago. These little, narrow boats were used as tugs to tow a line of sailboat gillnetters out to the fishing grounds and back again. They were also used to rescue sailboats that had been blown to the other side of the Bay and could not get back.
