Diamond J Cannery

This is Diamond J cannery, with its two runways. It is located on the east side of the Kvichak River, on Bristol Bay. This was also the location of the village of Koggiung. In the early 1900s, Koggiung was the largest and most important settlement in all of Bristol Bay. The 1900 census showed a population of 533. Today it is uninhabited.
