Old Scow at Libbyville
The scow has been parked here since the 1930s and never used again, except as a temporary summer dwelling for setnet fishermen. The blue tent frame was constructed by the photographer in the early 1980s, others added more in later years. An advantage of sleeping in a place such as this is that it is more difficult for bears to visit than on ground level.
