Bumble Bee on the Beach, Ekuk, AK, 1979

This was taken later in the 1979 season. Ekuk had a fairly shallow dock and sometimes on short tides, it was necessary for some tenders to land on the beach. This tender, the Bumble Bee is unloading fish. The beach gang came in with the same trucks used for picking up setnet fish and unloaded her. Note that the paint on the hull of a tender starts looking a bit rough towards the season's end.
