Clark's Point
This was taken in 1983, from the hill that separates Clark's Point from Ekuk. This shows a panoramic view of the old APA cannery at Clark's Point, some setnet cabins on the beach, and other buildings that make up the village. The community is named for John W. Clark, who was the manager of the Alaska Commercial Company store at Nushagak.
This photo looks straight up the Nushagak River towards Dillingham. The photo was taken quite late in the season. Note that the river has nearly emptied out with respect to processors and tenders. It appears that someone's fuel scow is still hanging on a mooring in the river.
