Egegik, 1977

This is only a part of the village. Much of it is over the bluff and out of view. The cannery located almost in the center is the old Egegik Packing Company/NEFCO plant. Just around the point, is the old APA plant, Diamond E. The prominent bluff just to the left of the NEFCO plant is Church Point.

A bit to the right of this photo is where the tenders stationed at Egegik would be lined up in a row. It is where the river channel is (or was) located. To get to Egegik, one would follow this side of the river and then shoot across at point a bit to the right of this location.
