Two is Company - Moth and Bumble Bee on Pussy Willow
Things just keep getting busier on the pussy willows in South Naknek. These two insects don't seem to mind sharing their space.
Bumble bees are larger and more furry that most other bees. There are many species of bumble bees. Bee watching is similar in some ways to bird watching. The observer notes the features such as the coloring on the head, thorax and abdomen and carries a notebook in which to jot down information and sketches of the bees, for study. It would be interesting to know which species this bee represents.
