Before Naknek Had an Airstrip

This photo is from 1947 and is of a Taylorcraft landing on the road from Naknek to Airplane Lake. The photo is looking east over Naknek. This was before there was an airstrip in Naknek. The portion of the road utilized for an airstrip was from about Oscar Monsen's to the Lundgren house.
