Naknek Lake from the Air

This is looking across the frozen Naknek Lake. You can see about twenty-five miles of the lake. Yesterday's picture was taken in the upper center of this view. Note the open water in the Naknek River section of the picture. This part of the river usually freezes over in November and opens up again after the lake freezes over.
