The Rest of the Story

This is a repeat of the photo we posted on January 6, 2007.

The caption simply read: "One of our fellow snow machiners entertains the rest of us mere mortals on a weekend outing near Denali State Park." There is a bit more to the story and the identity of the snow machine jumper.

His name is Paul Thacker and on February 24, 2007, he broke his own world record snowmobile long jump. His current record is 245 feet, surpassing his old record of 238 feet.
