More About Cowboys of the Sea

National Geographic Channel recently featured an hour-long program titled "Cowboys of the Sea" in late February and early March. It was filmed in Naknek during the most recent commercial fishing season (summer of 2006).

The National Geo crew followed three drift boats throughout the season.

Yesterday's photo showed a closeup view of the Claude M Bristol, (upper left) with the TV crew aboard. This (above) is the same photo, pulled back to show the surroundings. Another boat featured on the program was the Sunshine III. She is the boat directly over the head of the boy in the red sweatshirt in the photo. There is a National Geo film crew aboard Sunshine III, also.
