Alaska State 2A Championship Games

The Bristol Bay School's high school basketball teams, Girls and Boys, both were contenders for the state championships this past week. The final games were held in the Sullivan Arena, Anchorage, AK. Unfortunately neither of teams was successful but they played hard and well. There was a lot of audience support from the communities. This support comes at a steep price because it's necessary to fly the 300 miles to get to Anchorage, with an average round trip ticket costing about $400.
