Per Thurri, 1918

This wonderful photo is of Per Thurri in 1918, when he was thirty years old. He was a delegate in the Laplanders Diet (legislature) in Sweden. He came to the Naknek area in 1931 and was postmaster in South Naknek from October 30, 1942 to June 14, 1949 when he passed away.
