Lady Angels are Champions!! Go Angels!!

Bristol Bay Schools' Lady Angels beat Ninilchik at Saturday's Championship game, 32-24. The stands were packed with loyal fans from the Bay. For the past six consecutive years, Ninilchik has held the state championship. This is the first time Bristol Bay has held this title since 1992. This year their record was 23-2.

The 2A State Championship Tournament was held in Anchorage. It should be pointed out that the teams and others involved, including proud parents and community fans, must fly at great cost and distance to attend these tournaments.
