"Lady Bullwinkle"

This moose, and her calf, wandered by my window today. That forces me to interrupt the boat and cannery scenes for one day to show her off. She was standing at the edge of a fairly steep incline in this photo. It was quite icy. She very neatly allowed herself to slide down the slope, stiff-legged and on her feet, for about 20 feet, to meet her calf, who was browsing below. She never once lost her balance. It was beautiful to see.
