Nakeen Cannery, 1969
This photo is taken just around the end of the dock from the scene in yesterday's photo. You can see a few of those Nakeen Boats tied up.
There was a distinctive type of boat that was often referred to as "Nakeen Boats." They looked very much like converted sailboats in that they didn't have a flat transom, but were pointed at both ends. They looked much like a conversion, but were larger than a sailboat hull would have been.
