Edge of the Ice, Naknek River

We don't know how much longer the river ice will remain. Vehicle traffic continues across the river for the time being. The thinnest ice is now about 24 inches thick. This photo shows the downstream edge of the ice and was taken from a gravel pit on the south side of the river.
