| This photo was taken in late May. The seasonal arrival of freight is always eagerly anticipated. This is an extremely busy port in the summer. There are no limitations of the types of cargo handled. You might see the colorful container vans, such as these, vessels, large and small, heavy equipment, cars, trucks, groceries, and fishing equipment. The main export on the southern-bound backhauls is Bristol Bay Salmon. |
