Lava Creek Falls
Lava Creek is an upper tributary of the Cinder River. The falls are in Aniakchak National Monument. This is an aerial view, from well above the falls. This is one of the critical habitat areas in the Bristol Bay region - a place where you can see spectacular concentrations of waterfowl and shorebirds in the spring and fall. It's part of the Alaska Peninsula National Wildlife Refuge.
