Floaters

This is a picture of a row of what are referred to as "floaters." The high tide deposits them on the beach. These fish have fallen out of the nets when drifters and set netters were tending their nets. On a warm day it isn't pleasant to walk by this, but the dead fish makes the gulls and other carrion eaters happy. The tide will come in and clean things up later in the day.
