| On June 16, when this photo was taken, the Naknek River was particularly busy with tenders. It was taken from South Naknek, Alaska, looking across the river to the north. It is hard to imagine this is the same river that provides a frozen road for vehicles to drive across. This year people were still crossing at the end of March, although not this far downriver. See March 28, 2006. |
