Bear at Work

The time is dusk. Smaller bears come out and scavenge fish that have dropped out of nets. They must do this before the big bears come out, when it is darker, and chase them away. To the left is the dock of PAF Warren Camp. There are setnetters fishing nearby. In the distance are (left) South Naknek, (middle) the mouth of the Naknek River, and (right) Naknek.
