The house (above) has become a landmark in Naknek. It's a red building, probably seen in several places on this website, including: in color on September 25, 2006 and in monochrome on May 2, 2005.
This photo was taken well over 80 years ago, probably in the 1920s. It was taken looking northwest. In the photo, the house still had a tarpaper roof and could have actually been taken in the teens.
