Tundra Tussocks, South of South Naknek

The tussocks are the round mounds of sedges and grasses. They are about one or two feet tall and about the same distance apart. In the winter, they are like concrete speed bumps. These tussocks are often a major obstacle to travel by all terrain vehicles. It's easy to overturn your ATV.
