More Savonoski Crossing

If you look carefully, you can see two ATV's crossing the frozen Naknek River. This was taken at Savonoski Crossing. The river is about half a mile across at that point. It looks misleadingly narrow, because of the telephoto lens being used. The ice IS as rough as it appears. That is accurate. The smooth area in the foreground of the photo was open water three days ago and the vehicles do not drive across there yet.
