| This abandoned tender once housed a cash buyer for Bristol Bay salmon. Cash buyers like this were a common sight in the Bay. They paid more for the fish than the canneries, because they provided no services for the fishermen. If you were caught selling to a cash buyer, your cannery would probably kick you out. |
