| The peak of Denali is North America's highest point. Denali can be seen from 250 miles away, which is farther than any other highpoint on the continent. One of the things which makes this mountain so unique is it rises up in the sky, seemingly all alone. It is surrounded by spectacular peaks, but it dominates them into foothills. This was taken on one of our very cold and clear (below zero F), early February afternoons in the Mat-Su Valley. | ||
