Two People from Naknek's History

This is a photo from about 1914, of Mrs. Eleanor (William L.) Fursman and her younger sister Evangeline. Mr. William L. Fursman was U.S. Postmaster in Naknek from 1914 to 1917. Evangeline married Harry Lucas from Juneau. His father, Harry Lucas, Sr., was mayor of Juneau in the late 30s and early 40s. The Fursmans had the first piano in Naknek.
