Drifting in South Naknek?!

The title of this photo was "drifting" but it wasn't the kind that happens in the Bristol Bay area in the summer. This was taken in South Naknek, late afternoon, Wednesday, Feb. 8th.

The forecast is for strong wind this evening through Thursday afternoon with areas of blowing snow. Their snow accumulation will be from 2 to 6 inches. Lows in the 20s. Southeast wind 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 60 mph through channeled terrain.
