Pioneer Peak, Watching Over the Valley

This beautiful 6400’ mountain, part of the Chugach Range, is visible from any place in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. It dominates as the main landmark. This photo was taken on February 12, 1:30 PM, from the west. It was a beautiful day, cold but clear.
