The Winner!

Mitch Seavey is warming up with some coffee after placing first in the Kusko 300 Dog Sled Race.

He and his dog team finished the 300 mile race in 42 hours, 27 minutes and 29 seconds, in Bethel, Sunday, January 16th. This was his first race since winning the Iditarod last year. He will take home $20,000 as the winner of the Kusko 300. To learn more about the race, you can go to http://www.k300.org/
