Off to Market, Egegik

Frozen salmon product is being trucked down the beach to the barge for shipment to market. Since there are no roads or large airports on this side of the Egegik Bay, a tug brings a barge to Coffee Point and beaches it to receive the product. If the winds are off-shore during the high tide, the beach becomes soft and progress has to stop to wait for on-shore winds.
