1937 Fairchild 24G, Ted Stevens Anchorage International
If your travels took you through Anchorage, Alaska, in addition to the holiday decorations and festive atmosphere, you might have noticed the regular displays, such as a Fairchild 24G, hovering overhead.
This plane was used in Alaska by the Civil Aeronautics Administration. It was restored by the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum and hangs overhead in the new Concourse C, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Terminal in Anchorage, Alaska.
