These fishermen are unloading fish from their boat with this truck, which was adapted for jobs such as this. After this, the fish were hauled in, via a different vehicle, to Naknek. The driving distance is about 3-5 miles, mostly on the beach. The lifetime of vehicles such as these are limited, due to the salt water.
