Net Full of Fish, Waiting to Be Picked

This happened on the 2nd of July, 2008. So many fish were hitting that the fishers had to pull this net and dump it on the beach in order to attend to their remaining nets. This was necessary in order to get all the nets completely out of the water by the 6:00 closing time, which is decreed by Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
