Beaver Pond Near Pederson Point

If you follow the v-shaped ripple in the pond, it ends with a beaver. This family of beavers provides entertainment for the entire summer crew of hundreds. The beavers don't need to build an actual dam because they have an entire lake to themselves. What you can't see in this photo are the billions of bugs that usually come out, whenever it is calm like it was on this particular evening.
