Seagull Eggs
The age-old tradition of gathering seagull eggs in the spring, in Naknek, continues. This is not only done in Alaska, but in Norway, where seagull eggs are often served hard boiled, along with beer and smoked salmon. (The white egg is a chicken egg, placed there to give perspective. This photo was taken in late May, 2006.)
