Busy Day on the Naknek River, 1952
In the right foreground is the Columbia, loaded with equipment. This was, perhaps, for the construction of the Naknek/King Salmon road. In the background two vessels (LCTs) tow the Foss fuel barge away from the dock. The vessel in front (partially obscured by exhaust) is not identified but could be the Deneb or the Cape Douglas. The second vessel (immediately in front of fuel barge) is the Fajen (see June 23 photo).
