Naknek Hotel and the D & D

This building, which is about 66 years old, includes the Naknek Hotel and the D & D restaurant. The D & D offers pizza that is world class - some of the best you'll find anywhere, any time! The little yellow sign says, "cappuccino, gifts, slushies." This photo is taken looking toward the southwest.

Tomorrow's picture will show this building as it looked in its first years, in the early 1940s.
