| Spawning Reds |
| Red salmon (sockeyes) congregate at the mouth of a small stream, Northwest Arm, (know locally as "Johnny's Lake"), Naknek Lake. Bears abound in this area. All the ripples and bubbles are the result of the fish activity. It looks like boiling water. |
